I had no idea there were so many different ways to get meat! O suppose these are like birchbox except for meats. Do you think people should be concerned about food being contaminated during shipping?

Reply

Hi there Aria,
If you like eating organic meat then these really are great ways to go.
As far as I am aware, the meats come sealed and cooled so there should be no concerns regarding contamination.

Hi Catherine,
I just come from buying some organic foods for my little one. He is allergic to almost everything especial meat related products.

I took him to top 10 doctors in the US and had vaccine twice a week for almost 2 years, but there’s no different. I mean if you are a good parent how much you will feel.

I’ll definitely try the Butcher Box.

Anyways, thanks for sharing.

Hi there Maun,
Bless you and your family. Many children really do have a tough time these days with regards to allergies.
I am not a health professional, but we started keeping a diary of all the things my daughter was eating and how her body was dealing with them. This helped us to see patterns and figure out what foods she was having issues with.
I am pleased that my article was helpful.

My wife and I have really been looking into organic meats lately. The problem is they are so much more expensive than regular meat. I understand the health benefits, but it is hard to watch the food bill go up and up.

Butcher Box has me sold on the free bacon! Come on now, who doesn’t love bacon? I will definitely check out their prices and quality and see if it’s something I am interested in.

I appreciate you sharing this post, it’s very timely and informative.

Hi Steve,
I completely agree with you about how hard it is to eat organically whist not going over your budget.
That is why these online ideas are so fantastic. High quality produce at a reasonable rate. I believe that you will save money buying from this company. That is so funny – there are not many people who don’t love free bacon. I am just glad that this post was of use to you.

I’m vegetarian but do get the importance of buying the best quality products I can afford. I can relate most of the information above to what I would buy too. Great post and very informative.

I am delighted to hear that a vegetarian has read my post about buying organic meat. Thank you so much for your contribution. I was vegetarian a while back. I found that my body was craving meat and that told me that I wasn’t doing it right so I reverted back to meat.

Some good advice there. I am all for organic foods but whilst the costs are still on the high side as they become more and more popular then they will eventually become affordable for everyone. Shipping also adds to the cost factor but if it means that you live a more active and healthy life then it is all worth it. Thanks, I really enjoyed the post!

Hi Mick,
I think you might be right about the cost of organic meat dropping in price as it becomes more popular. You have made such a great point. This is something I had not really thought about before. I agree with you about the benefits out weighing the shipping fees. It reminds me of that old saying – you get what you pay for.
i am really glad to her that you enjoyed the post.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me and I will do my very best to help you.
Take care, Catherine.

Hi,

Thanks for your recommendation!

I am interested in buying organic meat as well. I have heard that the organic beef has a higher proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, which is associated with health benefits. Can you explain more to me? 🙂 I would like to know more!

Reply

Hi Crystal, I think this is true of grass-fed beef. Please read this review for more details.

Hello, Those bars sounds really interesting. I’ve never seen a nutritional bar made out of meat before. I’m going to check those out. I think my computer is giving me some issues because the link would not work for me (I’ve been having this problem all day) but I’m wondering if you know what the calorie content is for the bars.

Reply

Hi there Lynne, the bars are fantastic. They are really convenient for active people. I am sorry that your computer is having issues going through to the links. When this happens to me, often restarting my computer fixes the problem. With regards to your question about calorie contents, the grass-fed beef they use is low in calories. For more information in their ingredients please follow the link to their website, then click on the ‘ingredients’ tab at the top centre of their page. I hope this helps. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask, I will be more than happy to help you.

Great article ! I would like to eat more organic food items but the extra cost always puts me off. I’m on a tight budget at the moment and every penny counts, unfortunately.

Reply

Hi Les,
I completely agree with your point. You have got to make decisions based on your current circumstances.
i believe that as the popularity for this farming method grows, the price will drop.
Buying online, in bulk or on the sales can help reduce the cost too.
Hope this helps.

I prefer all of my beef to be antibiotic and hormone free. I only use grass-fed beef as well. I haven’t tried any of the companies that you have reviewed although I have heard good things about Butcherblock. Fortunatly where we live in PA there are quite a few local farms that sell organic grass fed beef.

Reply

Hi Wendy.
I am really pleased that you are already eating grass fed beef and that you have access to it locally.
This is the best situation! I wish I had access like you do.
All the best and thank you for reading.
